There's 2
1.) motorway 4-5 year waiting list
2.) osprey 5+ year waiting list
You can fish from 5:00 am - 10pm on day ticket and from October - March I can quest you on the night ticket for motorway.
Fishing on motorway has been slow in recent years due to pressure of otters but now it's been fenced things should change
People say the place is on it's arse but I have seen some monsters in there not an easy lake but the best looking in the area in my opinion
If you joined by the time your night pass came round it will be rammed with fish due to the restocking program.
Disagree mate,
More than those two listed,
Hawk through out a 35lb common on Friday morning as well as a few very high 20's earlier, we knew there would be some surprises in it but this was a unknown fish, this was a steal at £100 for a night permit, bet there will be a waiting list soon.
Motorway has not fished slow, still has got three or four known thirties, all caught within the last year, (two on guest sessions) and has already been restocked with 50 Viv Shears fish, more are planned this coming and subsequent years. Its about finding them, waste of time going there with a planned swim in mind, spend a few hours looking for them then have a go for them, if in doubt were to start have a look around Culvert.
Brands 3&4 is chucking out twenty lb plus commons weekly, Burshill B has got half a dozen 20+ fish.
I know a few years ago the club gave the fisheries officer a annual budget to be spent every year on fish, I know exactly what's been stocked and where, for Motorway this will be finally completed in the next couple of years when it will have received a total of 200 new fish.
Have a look on the HDAA forum, hdaafishing.proboards.com/board/24/newport-broomfleet-fisheries
Plenty of info there including pictures of stocked fish.
