Well that was an interesting weekend end
I got the nod from Jimmy that him and mike were fishing the A1 Pits ...never fished it before so decided to tag along
word on the drums friday morning was that the place was heaving...it was pissing it down with rain and dint fancy unloading the car so though i would go back to bed instead
then magic mike had managed to find us 3 pegs.

By all account the owner of the place wernt to happy with magic mike on doing an impersonasion of colin mcrae around his fishery and dished him out a speeding fine

I arrived next and took the nearest peg as mike had taken the furthest and seeing how mike and his mate from the boyband JFS like to be close to each other i let jimmy have the middle swim

Jimmy rocked up as Jimmy does him and magic spent a bit of time in the bivvy for a bit of man love i think
and then we were fishing

i kept getting liners so was feeling confident
but nowt
we then ordered the take away
by christ the kabab was awsome had i been a bigger bloke i would have ordered another
me and magic spent some time in the boyband swim and we did our best to make life difficult for fulla by the time we had done walking about in his swim it was like the front row at glastonbury
even mike was struggling to lift his feet the suction from the mud was great...
feeling smug we called it a night

Lots of liners during the night but nothing on the bank
Looking up the bank magic confirmed his night with a thumbs down

Fulla on the other hand had somehow managed to not go arse over tit through the swap and bagged him self a nice old comman at 17.8lb

a short while later magic calls out that the have a fish
turn out it was snagged up up or somet and they rescued it
gave it a bit of TLC
nice little fat dumpy comman

mike for one side and jimmy for the other

they day just seemed to fly by and i was salavating at the thought of another one of them kebabs
we cracked open the tinnys had a few beers and got the grub in
it was then it happend for me
i caught Ebola or somet....just felt unwell...felt cold ...called it a night and climbed in my bag was shivering and aching and bleeding from my eyes
bollox to it i broke out the paracetamol couple of tinnys and fell asleep...

woke up this morning have shook it off
did a slow pack up and came home
Had a cracking weekend with magic mike and the front man for JFS

its just a shame jimmy dint get there first he would still be there now trying to get his van out

What a weekend lads made my birthday a good one thanks a lot pity the fish weren't playing ball but me and jfs helped rescue a tethered fish so at least I got my hands on a carp
